Aurealis Inc. Institutional Directives

Issued by: Aurealis Inc.
Last Updated: October 1, 2026

Purpose and Institutional Scope

This document establishes the institutional directives applicable to Xenyth within its relationship with Aurealis Inc.

Aurealis Inc. provides an organizational framework for the projects and entities operating under its authority. Within this framework, Xenyth is subject to institutional supervision, operational standards and applicable internal requirements established by Aurealis.

These directives define the principles, expectations, responsibilities and support framework governing Xenyth's operation under Aurealis' jurisdiction.

The purpose of this document is to maintain consistency, accountability, security and operational reliability while allowing Xenyth to develop and manage its own identity, gameplay systems and community.

These directives apply to Xenyth's administration, project management, official communication, staff organization, operational decisions and use of resources under Aurealis' authority.

They do not replace applicable law, platform rules, the Xenyth Terms of Use, the Terms of Sale, the Privacy Policy or the server's gameplay rules. Where a legal requirement or platform rule conflicts with an internal directive, the applicable legal requirement or platform rule takes precedence.

Relationship Between Aurealis and Xenyth

Xenyth operates as a project under the jurisdiction and institutional supervision of Aurealis Inc.

Aurealis establishes the general framework within which Xenyth is expected to operate. Xenyth remains responsible for the day-to-day administration and development of its own project, within the authority and limits assigned to it.

This relationship is intended to distinguish institutional oversight from routine project management.

Aurealis Inc. is responsible for:

  • Establishing applicable institutional standards and internal requirements;

  • Defining the framework for supervision, accountability and reporting;

  • Reviewing significant operational, administrative or security matters where required;

  • Providing guidance and coordination within its available resources;

  • Ensuring that Xenyth's administration remains consistent with applicable Aurealis policies.

Xenyth is responsible for:

  • Managing its Minecraft project and its day-to-day operations;

  • Maintaining its gameplay systems, community and project infrastructure;

  • Organizing and supervising its assigned staff;

  • Applying the rules and directives relevant to its operations;

  • Reporting significant incidents, risks and operational matters when required;

  • Communicating accurately about its relationship with Aurealis.

The precise scope of Aurealis' authority may depend on the current organizational arrangement, assigned responsibilities and any specific written decisions issued to Xenyth.

Institutional Authority and Supervision

Aurealis retains institutional authority over the framework under which Xenyth is administered.

This authority may include the ability to establish requirements, request information, review decisions, issue corrective instructions and intervene in matters that fall within Aurealis' assigned responsibilities.

Institutional supervision is intended to protect the integrity of the project and the wider organization. It is not intended to replace every operational decision made by Xenyth's administration.

Aurealis may require Xenyth to review or modify an operational practice where it presents a material risk to security, integrity, compliance, organizational consistency or the proper functioning of the project.

Where an instruction materially affects Xenyth's operations, the relevant authority should communicate its purpose, scope and expected implementation as clearly as reasonably possible.

Xenyth's administration is expected to cooperate with legitimate institutional requests and provide accurate information relevant to the matter under review.

Governance and Organizational Standards

Xenyth must maintain an understandable and functional administrative structure.

Its organization should identify the people responsible for project management, technical operation, moderation, community communication and other essential activities.

Responsibilities should be assigned clearly enough to avoid unnecessary overlap, uncertainty or gaps in authority.

Xenyth is expected to maintain appropriate internal documentation concerning:

  • Administrative responsibilities and reporting lines;

  • Staff permissions and access to project systems;

  • Operational procedures and recurring tasks;

  • Relevant decisions and their implementation;

  • Security incidents and significant moderation matters;

  • Project resources and essential service dependencies.

The level of documentation should remain proportionate to the project's size and operational complexity.

Aurealis may request reasonable organizational clarification where responsibilities are unclear, essential tasks are not being maintained or a matter requires institutional review.

Administrative Responsibilities

Xenyth's administration is responsible for ensuring that the project is operated in a consistent, organized and accountable manner.

Administrative personnel are expected to understand the limits of their authority, follow applicable internal procedures and avoid using their positions for personal advantage.

Administrative decisions should be based on relevant information, the project's needs and the rules applicable to the matter.

Where a decision affects users, staff, security or the continuity of the service, the administration should maintain an appropriate record of the decision and its justification.

Staff members must not claim authority they have not been granted, represent personal opinions as official institutional decisions or make commitments on behalf of Aurealis without authorization.

Aurealis may request clarification or review of decisions that fall within its institutional responsibilities.

Staff Conduct and Professional Standards

All staff members operating within Xenyth are expected to act responsibly, respectfully and consistently with their assigned duties.

Staff conduct must support a safe, functional and professional environment for users and colleagues.

Staff members are expected to:

  • Communicate respectfully and avoid harassment, intimidation or discriminatory conduct;

  • Use administrative permissions only for legitimate project purposes;

  • Protect confidential information and restricted internal discussions;

  • Avoid conflicts of interest or disclose them when relevant;

  • Follow applicable moderation, security and operational procedures;

  • Cooperate with authorized reviews and incident investigations;

  • Avoid misleading users about project decisions, policies or capabilities.

Staff members must not misuse their position to obtain personal benefits, threaten users, manipulate moderation processes or interfere with legitimate administrative oversight.

Xenyth's administration is responsible for communicating these expectations to its staff and addressing reported conduct concerns through appropriate procedures.

Where a concern involves a senior administrator or a potential conflict of interest, it may be referred to the relevant Aurealis authority for independent review, where such authority has been assigned.

Security and Access Management

Xenyth must take reasonable measures to protect the accounts, systems, infrastructure and information used to operate the project.

Administrative access should be granted according to operational need and limited to the permissions required for each person's responsibilities.

Access to sensitive systems, including hosting panels, databases, authentication services, server consoles and payment-related systems, should be restricted to authorized personnel.

Xenyth is expected to maintain appropriate practices for:

  • Account and permission management;

  • Secure handling of credentials and authentication methods;

  • Removal or adjustment of access when responsibilities change;

  • Protection of confidential configuration and infrastructure details;

  • Backup and recovery planning where applicable;

  • Reporting and investigation of suspected security incidents.

Credentials must not be shared casually or stored in publicly accessible channels.

Suspected unauthorized access, data exposure, infrastructure compromise or other significant security incidents must be escalated through the appropriate internal channel without unnecessary delay.

Aurealis may request information about a security incident and require reasonable corrective measures where the matter falls within its institutional authority.

Data Protection and Confidentiality

Xenyth must handle personal information and confidential project information responsibly.

The project is expected to follow its published Privacy Policy and applicable data protection requirements, including the principles of purpose limitation, data minimization, appropriate security and limited retention.

Access to personal information should be restricted to individuals who need it for legitimate operational purposes.

Staff members must not disclose private user information, account records, support messages, internal investigations or confidential technical information without proper authorization.

Information must not be collected, retained or shared merely because it is technically accessible.

Where Xenyth uses third-party services, plugins or infrastructure that process personal information, the project should understand their relevant functions and ensure that the published privacy information accurately reflects the actual setup.

Any suspected loss, unauthorized disclosure or misuse of personal information must be escalated to the appropriate responsible authority so that the situation can be assessed and handled in accordance with applicable requirements.

Operational Reliability and Continuity

Xenyth is expected to maintain reasonable operational practices that support the availability, stability and continuity of its services.

This includes managing updates, monitoring essential systems, addressing recurring technical problems and communicating material interruptions when appropriate.

Operational planning should take account of the project's actual resources and development stage. Requirements should be proportionate and should not imply a level of infrastructure, staffing or support that Xenyth does not currently possess.

Where a service interruption, technical failure or infrastructure change materially affects users, Xenyth should provide accurate information through its official communication channels when reasonably possible.

Aurealis may provide coordination or guidance concerning operational continuity where resources and responsibilities permit.

The existence of institutional supervision does not constitute a guarantee that Xenyth will be continuously available or free from technical failures.

Community Management and User Protection

Xenyth is responsible for maintaining and enforcing its community and gameplay rules.

Rules should be accessible, understandable and applied consistently, with appropriate consideration of the circumstances of each case.

Moderation actions should have a legitimate purpose, such as protecting users, maintaining fair gameplay, preventing abuse or preserving the functionality of the community.

Staff members should avoid arbitrary enforcement, personal retaliation, misuse of permissions or public disclosure of unnecessary private information.

Where appropriate, Xenyth should provide users with a way to ask questions about moderation actions or submit appeals under its own procedures.

Aurealis may review significant or systemic concerns relating to administration, integrity or the proper application of institutional requirements. Such review does not automatically replace Xenyth's ordinary moderation process.

Institutional Integrity and Conflict of Interest

Xenyth must preserve the integrity of its administrative processes and avoid practices that undermine trust in the project.

Administrative decisions should not be manipulated for personal benefit, favoritism, retaliation or the protection of misconduct.

Staff members should disclose relevant conflicts of interest where their personal relationships, financial interests or other circumstances could reasonably affect their impartiality.

Where a conflict exists, the project should consider appropriate measures, such as assigning the matter to another authorized staff member or requesting institutional guidance.

Reports of serious misconduct, abuse of authority, fraud, unauthorized access or deliberate concealment of significant incidents may be referred for institutional review.

Any investigation should be conducted with appropriate discretion, a clear purpose and respect for the rights and privacy of the people involved.

Project Identity and Official Communication

Xenyth is responsible for maintaining its own project identity, including its name, visual presentation, gameplay concept and community-facing communication, subject to applicable Aurealis requirements and any relevant agreements.

Official statements about Aurealis, its authority, its decisions or its relationship with Xenyth must be accurate and authorized.

Xenyth must not imply that Aurealis has approved, funded, certified or guaranteed a product, service or activity unless that approval, funding, certification or guarantee has actually been granted.

When describing the relationship between the two entities, Xenyth should use clear wording that reflects its actual status under Aurealis.

The project may communicate its own updates, development plans, community events and operational notices through its official channels, provided that such communication does not misrepresent institutional decisions or disclose confidential information.

Compliance with Platform Rules and Applicable Requirements

Xenyth must operate in accordance with the terms, policies and technical requirements of the platforms and services it uses.

This may include Minecraft-related requirements, hosting provider conditions, website software licenses, payment provider rules, communication platform policies and applicable legal obligations.

Xenyth is responsible for identifying the requirements relevant to its own operations and taking reasonable steps to comply with them.

Aurealis' institutional directives do not override the rules of external platforms or applicable law.

Where a platform requirement or legal obligation conflicts with an internal instruction, Xenyth must follow the applicable external requirement and notify the relevant Aurealis authority when the conflict materially affects the project.

Reporting and Institutional Communication

Xenyth must maintain appropriate communication with Aurealis regarding matters that materially affect the project or its institutional responsibilities.

Depending on the project's current arrangements, this may include reporting:

  • Significant security incidents or suspected data exposure;

  • Serious operational interruptions;

  • Major administrative changes;

  • Material disputes involving project integrity or authority;

  • Significant risks to the continuity or reputation of the project;

  • Issues that may require institutional intervention.

Reports should be accurate, relevant and proportionate to the situation.

Aurealis may request reasonable updates or supporting information where necessary to assess a matter within its authority.

Reporting requirements should be adapted to the project's current scale and should not create unnecessary administrative work that interferes with essential operations.

Support and Resources Provided by Aurealis

Aurealis may provide Xenyth with institutional guidance, organizational support and coordination within the resources and capabilities actually available.

Such support may include:

Institutional guidance: Clarification of applicable directives, responsibilities, reporting expectations and organizational procedures.

Administrative coordination: Assistance in clarifying responsibilities, resolving organizational uncertainty and coordinating matters that involve more than one part of the wider structure.

Operational advice: Guidance concerning planning, continuity, internal procedures and the management of recurring operational responsibilities.

Security and integrity support: Coordination or advice concerning incident reporting, access management, internal reviews and the protection of project integrity, where available and appropriate.

Documentation and standards: Access to relevant templates, internal guidance, policies or documentation established by Aurealis.

Development and project coordination: Assistance in organizing project priorities, identifying dependencies and coordinating resources where such support has been approved and is available.

The availability, scope and timing of these forms of support depend on Aurealis' actual resources, assigned personnel and current organizational arrangements.

Unless expressly confirmed, this document does not guarantee funding, hosting, development work, staffing, legal services, technical infrastructure, marketing, financial coverage or any other specific material contribution.

Xenyth remains responsible for its own operational commitments and must not represent potential or conditional support as a confirmed service.

Resources, Assets and Use of the Aurealis Name

Any use of Aurealis' name, logo, institutional documents, internal resources or other protected materials must comply with the permissions and conditions applicable to those materials.

Xenyth may use approved institutional references to explain its relationship with Aurealis, provided that the use is accurate and does not create a misleading impression of ownership, certification or endorsement.

Access to shared resources does not automatically transfer ownership of those resources to Xenyth.

Where an asset is provided for a specific purpose, Xenyth is expected to use it only within the authorized scope and to respect any applicable restrictions.

Questions concerning ownership, licensing, permitted use or the return of shared resources should be referred to the relevant Aurealis authority.

Institutional Reviews and Corrective Measures

Aurealis may conduct or request an institutional review where there is a legitimate reason connected to its supervisory responsibilities.

A review may concern governance, staff conduct, security, confidentiality, operational integrity, compliance with directives or another matter within the assigned institutional scope.

Where reasonably possible, the relevant Xenyth administrators should be informed of the review's purpose and the information required.

Xenyth is expected to cooperate with legitimate reviews and avoid destroying, concealing or manipulating relevant records.

If a review identifies a concern, Aurealis may communicate findings and request proportionate corrective measures within its authority.

Depending on the circumstances and the applicable organizational arrangements, corrective measures may include clarification of procedures, additional reporting, changes to access permissions, review of responsibilities or temporary restrictions on specific activities.

Any intervention should be proportionate to the issue, based on relevant information and communicated to the appropriate responsible personnel.

This document does not establish automatic penalties or guarantee a particular outcome for every review. Any formal measure must be based on the authority and procedures actually applicable to the situation.

Autonomy and Operational Decision-Making

Xenyth may manage its ordinary project operations within the responsibilities assigned to its administration.

This may include day-to-day community management, gameplay configuration, routine technical maintenance, development planning and other decisions that do not exceed the project's assigned authority or conflict with applicable directives.

Institutional oversight is intended to establish common standards and address matters requiring coordination, not to require prior approval for every routine action.

However, decisions involving significant security risks, institutional representation, shared resources, major organizational changes or other matters specifically reserved to Aurealis may require prior consultation or authorization.

Where the boundaries of authority are unclear, Xenyth should seek clarification before making a decision that could materially affect Aurealis or the project.

Implementation and Application

These directives apply from the date they are formally adopted or communicated as applicable to Xenyth by the competent Aurealis authority.

Xenyth's administration is responsible for communicating relevant requirements to its staff and incorporating them into appropriate internal procedures.

Implementation should be proportionate to the project's development stage, resources and actual operational needs.

Where a requirement cannot reasonably be implemented immediately, Xenyth should identify the issue, explain the limitation and agree on an appropriate course of action with the relevant authority where necessary.

No provision should be interpreted as requiring Xenyth to claim that a process, resource or safeguard exists when it has not actually been implemented.

Interpretation and Amendments

Aurealis may clarify, revise or replace these directives where necessary to reflect organizational changes, operational experience, security requirements or changes in applicable obligations.

Revisions should identify the updated requirements and, where appropriate, explain their practical impact on Xenyth.

If a provision is unclear, Xenyth may request clarification from the relevant Aurealis authority.

If any provision conflicts with applicable law or binding platform requirements, the external requirement takes precedence. The remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent that they remain valid and compatible.

Institutional Statement

Aurealis Inc. establishes the institutional framework under which Xenyth operates, supporting a consistent approach to governance, accountability, security and operational coordination.

Xenyth remains responsible for managing and developing its own project within that framework.

The relationship is based on defined responsibilities, appropriate supervision, cooperation and accurate communication.

These directives are intended to provide a clear reference for the administration of Xenyth and to support the project's development while preserving the integrity of the wider Aurealis structure.
